He's the one who introduced US fast food franchises to Thailand, and when the company lost the license for Pizza Hut, he turned around and adapted the formula for Thai tastes and started The Pizza Company. According to Forbes, it holds a 70% market share. Minor also owns the Swenson's, Sizzler, Dairy Queen and Burger King franchises among others, not just for Thailand but in the Mideast, Africa, Australia and other Asian countries. As well it owns numerous hotel properties including Four Seasons, Marriott and Anantara, and other familiar brands like the S&P restaurant and bakery chain. Heinecke is a billionaire in dollar terms, "flying around the region in corporate jets, swooping in on huge deals" and has become a Thai citizen Edit
